Disable Language Translation Bar in Google Chrome

Posted by Alex on Wednesday, February 09, 2011

Google Chrome provides a language translation bar that helps you read more of the web, regardless of the language of the web page.
This translation bar will appear at the top of the webpage whenever you come across a page written in a language that doesn't match the browser interface language you've selected.

Although this feature is very useful, but it can be very annoying for some people and and may want to disable language translation bar.

To disable the translation bar in Google Chrome, go to Tools > Options > Under the Hood > Translate and uncheck the box next to "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read."
